You may remember Michael for his recent business name “Mobile Myotherapy by Michael” which serviced all of Melbourne and Victoria over the last few years.

Michael studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) where he completed his advanced Diploma of Myotherapy

Michael’s passion for myotherapy came from playing soccer at a semi- pro level from the ages of 8-21 years old. He was always intrigued by the pivotal role therapists played in his own professional sporting development and injury treatment which included rehab, strength and conditioning. After experiencing first-hand the impact recovery has on the quality of performance in athletes both in Australia and internationally, he made it a mission to deliver affordable and accessible healthcare – one that was as hands on as possible. Michael decided on myotherapy after shadowing his treating Chiropractor who is, now a good friend and mentor.

Nowadays, Michael treats patients with the same level of care he was fortunate to have received when competing soccer trials for English Premier League clubs. He ensures to support patients through injuries, maintenance of chronic illness and education for individuals to get back to a healthy, independent lives. When he’s not treating, Michael develops and delivers training programs and course material for tertiary students undertaking allied health studies.

Michael has a strong interest in both new and traditional treatment approaches to get the best results for his patients and with significant experience, Michael has plenty of tools up his sleeve in order to achieve the most effective, positive and sufficient outcomes for his clients. His sessions are results based with the intention of seeing clients back out in the community, back at work, back at sports and doing what they most love in life – pain free. He is a firm believer in manual therapy that is wholesome and not rushed.

In his downtime you can catch Michael spending time with family and friends, discovering the next Asian restaurant to eat at and keeping track of sports.
